Polytechnic Admission Result 2026 for the 2026-2027 session will be published by the Bangladesh Technical Education Board on btebadmission.gov.bd. The first phase result is scheduled for 29 September 2026. A notable change this year is that applicants must sit an admission test, held on 26 September 2026, before the merit list is prepared.

- Online application: 29 August – 18 September 2026
- Admission test: 26 September 2026, 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM
- 1st phase result: 29 September 2026
- 1st migration and 2nd phase result: 2 October 2026
- 3rd phase result: 7 October 2026
- 3rd phase confirmation: 7 – 8 October 2026
- In-person admission at the institute (1st and 2nd phase): 10 – 11 October 2026
- Class start: 11 October 2026
Who Can Apply
Students who passed the SSC or equivalent examination in 2024, 2025 or 2026 were eligible to apply for the first semester of Diploma in Engineering, Diploma in Agriculture and Diploma in Fisheries in government and private polytechnic institutes. O-level students with the required subjects and grades could also apply. The application fee and payment options are shown on the admission portal at the time of application.
How to Check Polytechnic Admission Result 2026
- Go to www.btebadmission.gov.bd.
- Open the result or login section for the 2026-2027 session.
- Enter your application ID, roll or the credentials shown on the portal.
- View your allotted institute and technology.
- Download or save the result copy for the confirmation step.
Results of the later phases are also sent by SMS to the mobile number used in the application, subject to seats being available.
Confirmation and Final Admission
After each phase result, selected students must confirm the seat online by paying the confirmation fee within the time shown on the portal. Students confirmed in the first and second phases complete the in-person admission at the institute on 10 and 11 October 2026, submitting the required documents. Classes for the 2026-2027 session begin on 11 October 2026.
