HSC Admission Result 2026 for the 2026-2027 academic session will be published on 17 September 2026 at 8:00 PM through xiclassadmission.gov.bd. This year the Ministry of Education has replaced the old three-phase system with a single application round, so there is one selection result instead of a 1st, 2nd and 3rd merit list, followed by one migration result.
HSC Admission Result 2026 Schedule
- Online application: 2 – 10 September 2026 (until 8:00 PM)
- Board challenge applicants and choice change: 12 – 13 September 2026
- Selection result: 17 September 2026, 8:00 PM
- Selection confirmation: until 19 September 2026, 8:00 PM
- Migration result: 19 September 2026, 8:00 PM
- Final admission at college: 20 – 22 September 2026
- Class start: 23 September 2026
How the Merit Position Is Prepared
The merit position is prepared from the SSC and equivalent examination result together with the college choice list and the seat position of each institution. There is no admission test in the central system. Of the total seats, 93 percent are open to all applicants on merit and 7 percent are reserved for different quotas. Students who passed SSC or equivalent in 2024, 2025 or 2026 were eligible to apply.
How to Check HSC Admission Result 2026
- Go to xiclassadmission.gov.bd.
- Click the “Login” link.
- Enter your EDU ID and password.
- Open the “Selection” menu from the dashboard.
- View your allocated college under “Detail Result”.
Selected students also receive an SMS on the mobile number given in the application form.
Selection Confirmation
After the result, the Nishchayan must be completed by 8:00 PM on 19 September 2026 by paying the board registration fee of 340 taka through bKash, Nagad, Rocket or another available option. If the confirmation is not completed in time, the selection and the application are cancelled and the student is not eligible for migration.
Migration Result
One migration result will be published on 19 September 2026 at 8:00 PM, right after the confirmation period ends. Students who keep the migration option on during confirmation may be moved to a college higher on their choice list. A college obtained through migration does not need a second confirmation.
Final Admission and Class Start
Final admission takes place at the allocated college from 20 to 22 September 2026. Students must attend in person with the SSC mark sheet and certificate, recent photographs and the confirmation receipt. The admission and session fee is between 1,500 and 8,500 taka depending on the institution. Classes for the 2026-2027 session begin on 23 September 2026.
Colleges Outside the Central System
Notre Dame College, Holy Cross College, Saint Joseph College and Saint Gregory College admit students through their own tests and are not part of the central admission system. Technical and diploma admission under the Bangladesh Technical Education Board is also handled separately through btebadmission.gov.bd.
