BTEB Admission 2026 for the 2026-2027 session is conducted by the Bangladesh Technical Education Board through the official portal btebadmission.gov.bd. Online applications were taken from 29 August to 18 September 2026, and for the first time applicants must sit an admission test on 26 September 2026 before the merit list is prepared.

- 1st phase result: 29 September 2026
- 1st migration and 2nd phase result: 2 October 2026

- In-person admission at the institute (1st and 2nd phase): 10 – 11 October 2026

Courses Under BTEB Admission
The admission covers the first semester of Diploma in Engineering, Diploma in Agriculture and Diploma in Fisheries in government and private institutes under the Bangladesh Technical Education Board, in the first and second shift where applicable. Technical and diploma admission is handled entirely separately from the XI class central admission system at xiclassadmission.gov.bd.
Eligibility
Students who passed the SSC or equivalent examination in 2024, 2025 or 2026 are eligible. English-medium students holding an O-level certificate with Physics, Mathematics and English among five subjects at a minimum C grade can also apply. The application fee and payment methods are shown on the portal during application.
How to Apply
- Go to www.btebadmission.gov.bd and open the application link.
- Enter the SSC roll, registration number, board and passing year.
- Select the institutes and technologies in order of preference.
- Pay the application fee through the options shown on the portal.
- Submit the form and keep the application copy and transaction record.
Result, Confirmation and Admission
The first phase result comes on 29 September 2026, the first migration and second phase result on 2 October 2026, and the third phase result on 7 October 2026. Selected students confirm the seat online by paying the confirmation fee within the given time, then complete the admission at the institute in person on 10 and 11 October 2026. Classes begin on 11 October 2026.
