Polytechnic Admission Result 2024 – 1st Merit
Polytechnic Admission Circular 2024 has been Released by the Bangladesh Technical Education Board (BTEB). This Admission Notice has been Released for the Government and Private Polytechnic Institutes in Bangladesh. The BTEB has announced the notice for Diploma in Engineering courses for the 2024-2025 session. Eligible students can apply online from May 26, 2024, to June 25, 2024, for the First Phase. The Polytechnic Admission Result 2024 will be published after each application period ends.
All applications must be completed online. Students cannot apply manually or directly through any institute or polytechnic institution. The application period is the same for both shifts. If you want to apply for both the First and Second shifts, you must do so within this timeframe.
The Bangladesh Technical Education Board issued the new Polytechnic Admission Circular for the 2024-2025 session. The admission process starts in June, after the SSC Exam Results 2024 were published. The SSC results were announced recently through various methods. Now, it is time for new admissions to diploma courses alongside general education or college admissions.
Polytechnic Admission 2024
The BTEB Polytechnic admission circular for 2024-2025 is now available on the BTEB admission website at btebadmission.gov.bd. Eligible candidates can submit their applications online for Polytechnic diploma engineering admission.
The Bangladesh Technical Education Board (BTEB) oversees various 4-year Diploma certificate programs. Admission is currently open for both government and non-government institutes. Students who have passed SSC, Dakhil, SSC (Vocational), Dakhil (Vocational), or equivalent exams from any education board in Bangladesh can apply.

Polytechnic Admission Circular 2024
The BTEB Polytechnic admission circular for 2024-2025 is now available on the official website, btebadmission.gov.bd. This announcement includes all the guidelines and processes for admitting students into polytechnic institutes across the country, managed by the Karigori Shikkha Board.
In Bangladesh, technical education is offered by both government and private sectors. The Bangladesh Technical Education Board (BTEB) provides Diploma programs through both types of institutions. Applicants need to choose between government and non-government institutions before applying.
Since the SSC results were published a few days ago, students can now apply for Polytechnic Admission. Make sure to decide which program suits you best before submitting your application.
Eligibility:
- Students who passed the SSC or Equivalent exams in 2022, 2023, or 2024 can apply.At least GPA 3.00 in Mathematics or Higher Math. A total GPA of 3.50.
- Those who completed a Two-Year Trade Course from the Technical Education Board can also apply
- Applicants must be 22 years old or younger.
Polytechnic Admission Form
Before you apply for the first shift, second shift, or both shifts, you need to pay the application fees. Pay 150 taka for a single shift or 300 taka for both shifts using Dutch Bangla Bank Mobile Banking (Rocket) or Sure Cash. Follow these instructions to pay:
- Pay the Fees:
- For a single shift, pay 150 taka.
- For both shifts, pay 300 taka.
- Use Dutch Bangla Bank Mobile Banking (Rocket) or Sure Cash.
- Payment Steps Using Rocket:
- Dial *322#.
- Select the “Payment” option.
- Select “Bill Pay.”
- Choose “Self” or “Other” (if paying for someone else, provide their mobile number).
- Enter Biller ID: 220.
- Type the Bill Number in this format: <passing year><Board Code><Roll><shift> (e.g., 2020DHA123456A).
- Enter the amount (150 taka for a single shift, 300 taka for both shifts).
- Enter your Rocket PIN and confirm the payment.
- Important Information:
- Save the DBBL Transaction ID. You will need it for the online application form.
- The Board Short Code is the first three letters of your Education Board’s name (e.g., DHA for Dhaka).
Form Fill Up
After you complete the payment, follow these steps to fill out the online application form for polytechnic admission:
- Visit www.btebadmission.gov.bd.
- Click “Polytechnic-TSC (Diploma) Admission” and open the application form.
- Enter your SSC Roll, SSC Board, SSC Pass Year, and Registration Number.
- Go to the next step and input the transaction code you received after making the payment.
- Upload a recent passport-size color photograph (within 50KB in JPG format).
- Choose your preferred institute and department (Preference List).
- If all information is correct, submit your application form.
- If needed, you can edit your application before final submission.
- After submission, you can edit your preference list twice by logging in with your transaction ID and details.
- If the online application form submission is successful, you will receive a PIN number. Keep this PIN number for editing your application form (if needed) and for future reference.
Polytechnic Admission Result 2024
The Polytechnic Admission Result 2024 is out. The 1st Merit List published today, July 1, 2024. The 2nd Merit List will be published on July 15, 2024. The 1st Migration Result will also be published on July 15, 2024. The 3rd Merit List will be published on July 29, 2024, along with the 2nd Migration Result.
Applicants can check their merit list and migration results on the BTEB Admission website: btebadmission.gov.bd. The results will also be sent via SMS to the candidate’s mobile number. If you are a BTEB admission candidate, you can check your results now.
How to Check Polytechnic Admission Result?
The Polytechnic Admission Result 2024 for all public and private polytechnic institutes, marine technology institutes, and TSC in Bangladesh is now available. Results have been published online and via SMS. Applicants will get an SMS with their result on the scheduled date.
To check your result online, follow these steps:
- Visit the official admission website: btebadmission.gov.bd.
- Go to the “Diploma in Engineering” option.
- Click on the “Result” option.
- Enter your SSC or equivalent roll number.
- Select your SSC or equivalent board.
- Choose your SSC or equivalent exam year.
- Click the “Next” button to view your result.
Admission Confirmation
Candidates selected in the 2nd phase must confirm their admission to the polytechnic from July 15 to July 18, 2024. If you don’t confirm by this date, your selection will be canceled. Here’s how to confirm your admission.
Payment Methods
You can confirm your admission by paying Tk. 385 through Rocket or SureCash. Below are the steps for each method.
Confirm by Rocket USSD
- Dial *322#.
- Select “Pay Bill” by dialing “1”.
- To pay from your own account, dial “1” and select “Self”. To pay from another account, dial “2”, select “Other”, and enter the applicant’s mobile number.
- Select “Other” by dialing “0”.
- Enter “288” as the Biller ID.
- Enter “R + Passing year + first three letters of board name + SSC/equivalent roll number” as the Bill number (no spaces).
- Enter “385” as the amount.
- Provide your PIN number.
- Save the payment confirmation SMS.
Confirmation via Rocket App
- Log in to the Rocket app.
- Go to the “Bill Pay” option.
- Enter “288” as the Biller ID.
- Enter “R + Passing year + first three letters of board name + SSC/equivalent roll number” as the Bill number (no spaces).
- Enter “385” as the amount.
- Provide your PIN number.
- Click on “Pay Bill”.
Complete your admission confirmation using any one of these methods.
Final Admission
The Polytechnic final admission will begin when the 1st and 2nd merit lists and migration results are released. You need to complete your final admission between August 22 and August 27, 2024. If you don’t complete the admission within this time, you will lose the chance to get admitted. You must go to the selected institution in person to complete the admission. If you don’t confirm your admission within the given period, your nomination will be canceled.
